The West Valley WorkSource Center is federally funded through the City of Los Angeles Workforce Development Board, as a result of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. The Center provides no cost business services and resources for individuals seeking jobs.
The Center’s lead agency is Build Rehabilitation Industries, a non-profit community-based organization serving the San Fernando Valley since 1967. Build is a recognized, innovative leader in assisting individuals with barriers to employment in achieving their highest potential by providing a variety of employment services that enable them to enhance their quality of life, independence, and vocational growth.
This Center is similarly committed to assisting ALL job seekers. Individuals are sometimes displaced by layoffs and unable or unlikely to return to their former occupation or find work within that industry. Other individuals may be out of work as a result of substantial reductions in the workforce. In many cases, local labor market trends have caused a decline in job opportunities that use an individual’s skills. Whatever the circumstance, The West Valley WorkSource is a resource for re-employment.
The West Valley WorkSource Center embraces a philosophy that regards Businesses as true partners. Whether businesses are looking for qualified employees, assistance during downsizing, tax credit information, or professional development for their employees, West Valley WorkSource is the right choice.
We are committed to serving the diverse needs of our community through business and employment services. Using combined resources, we promote economic stability and growth with dedication and humanity.
